Digital Art and Code

Digital Art isn’t just created with software dedicated to it, it can also be created with pure HTML and CSS. You can do a lot with HTML and CSS already such as creating moving graphics for certain documents, rather than just creating documents and putting everything together. You can create paintings or drawings with code and this is done with shapes by manipulating them to come together into a bigger shape. A great example of this type of artwork is by Diana Adrianne.

This artist created this art piece in the format of a painting. A significant type of code that contributes to shapes is border-radius. You can also create custom shapes with clip-path. Another significant feature that is used is box-shadow, this contributes to a 3D image that can take on the appearance of a painting. This is just one example of how far you can go with digital art, specifically with code.
